He has competed nationally and enjoys show jumping, hunting and point to pointing.

Over the years he has produced young horses for both competition and military parade purposes.

In his spare time, he enjoys riding his mountain bike as well as spending time with his family in Buckinghamshire.

Martin started his journey to becoming an Equine Dental Technician in 2017, he has been around horses for the majority of his life, on completion of school he took the leap of faith and joined the Army where he joined the world-famous King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery.

During 22 years of service he regularly competed both nationally and internationally in multiple disciplines including show jumping, eventing and National Hunt Racing. The highlight qualifying his military working horse to jump at Olympia.

His kind and patient approach along with military attention to detail now reaps rewards when carrying out his work.
Martin now lives in Leicestershire with his young family.

Stuart Lindsay – BAEDT

Stuart started his equine career when he joined the King’s Troop, Royal Horse Artillery as a fresh faced 17 year old. It was here that he first crossed paths with Matt. Sadly a number of injuries cut Stuart’s army career short. Following this he completed an HND at The University of Wales, Aberystwyth.

After graduating Stuart pursued a career in equine welfare working for both Redwings Horse Sanctuary and The British Horse Society. Wanting to make an active improvement to the welfare of all equines he attended The American School of Equine Dentistry before undertaking a 4 year apprenticeship back in the UK. This culminated in him passing the BEVA/BVDA exam and becoming a member of the BAEDT.

Raising the awareness and importance of equine dentistry is a real passion for him and he can regularly be found giving talks and demonstrations to riding schools and pony clubs.

Outside of horses Stuart is a massive rugby fan although more of a spectator than a player these days. But if the Scottish national team came asking he’d be happy to dust off his boots. When not watching rugby he can be found either hill walking in the Highlands with his loyal (ish) dog Jessie or rowing on the River Tay.
